Our Children’s Ministry offers the opportunity for children and youth to learn and grow in their faith journey through fun and creative stories, songs, crafts and Bible lessons. Whether your child is preschool age, or a tween, our mission is to help your child learn and grow in relationship with Jesus Christ. Our Bible based curriculum encourages scripture, life lesson application, and service through fellowship with each other, and living our daily lives with the love of Christ as our central focus.
We all begin our Sunday Mornings as one Church Family with Praise and worship in our Sanctuary. We have a special children’s moment with an introduction to our Bible lesson of the day, then Children are dismissed to Sunday School. We also provide loving and skilled childcare for young ones! Whether you join us every week or once and a while: if you are looking for a loving and accepting place to worship where your kids can learn and grow too–Join Us!
Our Sunday School Curriculum this year is “Deep Blue” from Cokesbury, and we have begun our fall session with Genesis. After God created each and every part of our world and universe, He said: “This is Good!!” And as we all said together last Sunday: “God made me, and I am good!” My hope is that our kids are learning they are unique and wonderful in God’s eyes, and all that God created is good, and deserves to be cherished and taken care of. We spend time on caring for our earth, our neighbors, and our animals! Although we’ve mainly have had little ones in Sunday School these days… I have lessons for all ages, and Mr. Laxman and I split the class when we have older ages. My focus is always to provide something for everyone–and we are ready when God decides it’s time for us to grow! Spread the word, invite a friend and come and join the fund in Sunday School.
Kids Huddle, which occurs during our worship service, gives us all a chance to see
and hear from our little ones!
It’s also a chance for me to introduce what your children will be learning in our Sunday School class following the huddle! So keep on bringing your kids to Church. It’s where our Sunday worship
and learning begins for all of us!
